Skilligi provides a range of online private classes for both kids and adults, with safety, fun, engagement and personalisation at the heart of our lessons. Our tutors are real, certified professionals who make learning fun - at a cost that the everyday Aussie family can afford.
Here’s the story of Skilligi and more information about our tutors and our platform.
Ann is a mum-of-two from Melbourne, a successful education entrepreneur and the founder of Skilligi. She wanted her kids to not spend too much time watching TV or playing online games. She was looking for ways to help her kids achieve more, without taking up too much of her already limited time or money.
This is why Ann founded Skilligi; she knows how hard it can be for kids to learn when tutoring isn’t personalised. Getting them interested and focused on one thing for a long period of time is difficult, as all children learn in different ways.
Ann wanted to create an online space for other parents like her, who found that having their kids tutored in groups was detrimental to their ability to focus on learning. That’s why she set out to develop Skilligi; a place where parents could easily find reputable, qualified and engaging teachers for the skills their children (or they themselves) wanted to learn.
She knew this also had to be affordable, as private tutoring is often out of reach for most families.
In short, here’s why you should choose Skilligi when you’re looking for a tutor for your children - or for yourself:
Our philosophy is that the more fun kids (or people) have, the more they learn
Our tutors are carefully selected for your (and your child’s) safety, and lessons are recorded for extra security.
Our classes are affordable for the average Aussie family- starting at just $15. There's also a money-back guarantee on class packages, you can be assured of our quality!
Our teachers are engaging, creative and collaborate with you and your child to produce the most suitable and effective custom training program
Parents don't need to sit with their kids or be asked endless questions with our engaging one-on-one tutoring – this means more time for yourself, something mums need much more of!
Founder Ann personally selects all the instructors who teach on Skilligi. Being a mum herself, she understands the concerns parents have about their children learning with a ‘stranger’ online. That’s why she places great importance on thoroughly vetting all of the tutors so that your child is safe.
Specialists in their respective fields, we have teachers for a whole range of subjects, from language, craft, and cooking to music, and many skills and activities in between. Feel comfortable knowing that each tutor has been personally hand-picked by Skilligi founder.
We are always happy to answer any questions you have about Skilligi, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
